Setting Clipping Volume Size Parameters

Parameters in the Size tab are used to:

• Set the size of the clipping volume
• Set the number of grid points (for cylindrical clipping volumes)
• Specify whether to remove surface area inside or outside of the clipping volume

Quantities in the Size tab are dependent on the type of clipping volume being edited (cylinder or box).

Size values are typically entered in units of cm (or degrees in the case of angles). To change the default units used to specify clipping volume sizes, go to the User Interface tab of the Preferences dialog.
